Agreement

By accessing or using DesiMatch.com.au (“the service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Your continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Marketing and partnerships

Paid or sponsored promotions (for example social posts, event stalls, or community newsletters) will be labelled clearly as advertising where the platform or publisher requires it. We do not guarantee impressions, clicks, or sign-ups from any campaign. Community partners must not misrepresent DesiMatch or imply we endorse unrelated products or immigration advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to marry or seek matrimonial introductions in your jurisdiction. You may only create a profile for yourself (or with the informed involvement of family where the product allows reference details).

The service

DesiMatch provides a platform to create a profile, receive compatibility scoring, browse other members’ profiles according to product rules, send expressions of interest, and connect when both sides agree. We may review profiles for safety and authenticity. We do not guarantee that you will find a partner, or that any match will be suitable.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, lawful information and keep it updated.
• Not harass, defraud, spam, or impersonate others.
• Not use the service for escorting, solicitation, pyramid schemes, scraping, or automated bulk access without permission.
• Not post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content, or content that infringes others’ rights.
• Respect other members’ privacy and dignity in all communication.

Accounts and moderation

We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate accounts, remove content, or change features where we reasonably believe it is necessary for safety, legal compliance, or the integrity of the community. We aim to respond to safety reports promptly (see our About page and homepage for current targets).

Fees

Unless we notify you otherwise on the site, core registration and use of the service are offered without charge. If paid features are introduced later, they will be governed by separate terms shown at purchase.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of opportunity arising from use of the service or interactions with other members, except where liability cannot be excluded (for example under the Australian Consumer Law).

Interactions with other members

You are responsible for your offline conduct and any arrangements you make with others. Exercise the same caution you would when meeting anyone new. We are not a party to any relationship or agreement between members.

Intellectual property

Branding, layout, text, and software on the site belong to DesiMatch or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You retain rights to content you upload; you grant us a licence to host, display, and process that content to operate the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Australia for disputes arising from these terms or the service.
